Dr. Sara Marie Solar was born and raised in Orange County, California and graduated from El Toro High School.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!) before receiving her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University in Philadelphia. She completed her three year surgical residency as Chief Resident at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, Level 1 Trauma Center before deciding to return to her home and continue practicing in Orange County. Her training prepared her for all pathologies and deformities of all ages including diabetic limb salvage, trauma, reconstruction, sports medicine as well as plastics and minimal incision techniques.
Dr. Solar is on staff at Hoag Hospital as well as multiple surgery centers around Orange County.
